As a member of Stour Singers, you agree that we may store the information collected on our membership form (name, contact details and Gift Aid eligibility/permission) in our membership database to manage the choir and provide information to HMRC in order to reclaim Gift Aid where appropriate.
Membership data is held on a secure database, accessed only by the Membership Secretary and Treasurer. The Choir Coordinator holds email addresses and telephone numbers on a secure database to keep members informed of relevant activities and choir news.
Data is never shared with any third party.
Every effort is made by all officers to guarantee the privacy of members.
Once a member leaves the choir, data will be held as required to comply with accounting legislation, and in order to update ex-members of relevant choir activities unless they request otherwise.
