Cheryl Rosevear
Cheryl Rosevear was born and educated in Cornwall. She developed a love of singing at an early age and won the prestigious BBC Choirgirl of the Year award for 1997-8. In 2000 she was awarded a Foundation Scholarship to study singing at the Royal College of Music with Margaret Kingsley with whom she continues to study in Truro. Cheryl graduated with an honours degree and went on to complete a postgraduate course at the RCM. During this time she developed her opera and oratorio repertoire, especially the works of Bach, Handel and Mozart and gained much performing experience both at the RCM and throughout the country.
She and her husband, who works for the Falmouth Harbour Commisioners, are now living in Falmouth and in addition to her evergrowing performing schedule she teaches singing at Truro School, Richard Lander and privately.
