Cantamus

A choir of about 20 able singers directed by Richard Emms. Our repertoire is almost entirely unaccompanied, in anything from 4 to 10 parts. It ranges from English and European madrigals to music from the 21st century; from the challenging to the disarmingly simple, and from the deepest tingle-factor to the utterly frivolous.

We perform for music societies, for charitable and private events in Warwickshire and the North Cotswolds. Often our programmes are in collaboration with Three's Company, a group of professional actors who provide witty and apposite readings interspersed among the music.

Cantamus is also in demand for its liturgical performances of masses by Byrd, Palestrina and Victoria.
